Aqua-Hot Introduces New Certified Technician Program
8/3/2016
As the economy recovers, RV technicians are busier than ever. In
response to calls for more flexible training schedules that require less
time away from work, Aqua-Hot Heating Systems Inc. introduces a
completely new Certified Technician Training Program.
"Making our training schedule more accessible and accommodating, and
having more certified technicians in the field, enables us to provide a
better level of service to coach owners," said Harold Ogden, Aqua-Hot
sales and marketing manager. "We're taking care of the people who buy
our products."
Training will now be a single, eight-hour day, a change from the
previous two-day event, and will focus on the 400 and 600 series of
heating systems. Sessions will be held twice a month at Aqua-Hot's
Frederick, Colorado facility. The new format begins in August.
Aqua-Hot will expand its reach by providing the same training onsite at
RV dealerships and regional training events. During the National RV
Trade Show, November 29 to December 1, in Louisville, Kentucky, they'll
offer a Certified Technician Course at RVIA's Tech Academy.
Courses cover hydronic heating principles and design, and diesel and LP
burner maintenance and repair. Technicians will learn troubleshooting
and diagnostic testing. An electrode adjustment tool and refractometer
are included. Registration is at
