For almost two decades Tiffin Motorhomes has been known for
quality and it's evident in every RV it builds. With Aqua-Hot
Hydronic Heating Systems being offered as standard equipment on the
Zephyr and Allegro models for quite some time, Tiffin Motorhomes owner
Bob Tiffin took a cross-country trip with the newest version and was
finally impressed.
Aqua-Hot Hydronic Heating units didn't win the discerning
Tiffin over immediately, even if he did make them available equipment
for his customers. "He would bring up the product's emissions,
claiming there was too much smoke and smell," said Jim Yates, Aqua-Hot's
OEM product application engineer. "After developing new
technology designed to lower emissions, we invited Bob to our 450-D
demo, but he refused."
Tiffin changed his tune after experiencing the improved
Aqua-Hot himself on one of his own motorhomes. "Every year, he
gets a brand-new coach and this year the 450-D was on board. It
was a big change when Bob started calling us with praise," said Yates.
"We took a 10-night trip with the Aqua-Hot 450 unit," said Bob
Tiffin. "It works really well. We had hot water to take a
bath. We set the thermostat and the RV stayed warm. The heat
just doesn't run out with one of these aboard. I now know why
this is a highly sought after piece of equipment from our customers."
The Aqua-Hot 450-D is a compact system that enables owners to
have continuous access to heat and hot water in all recreational
locations. This unit only employs one electric element, which
makes it great for use in milder climates. Providing a breath of
fresh air, Aqua-Hot's advances in design and technology make exhaust
odor virtually non-existent.
Bob Tiffin built the first Allegro in 1972 and has added the
luxury features and sophisticated engineering throughout the
years. The 2011 Allegro is 30-35' in length, with the world-class
Zephyr measuring in at 45'. Located in Red Bay, Alabama, Tiffin
Motorhomes is a family business dedicated to customer service.
For over 20 years, Aqua-Hot Heating Systems has been making the road a
more comfortable place. The state-of-the-art units run on diesel
or propane and are available in sizes for Class A diesel motorhomes
through smaller RV, towable and park models.
