Headquarters: Aqua-Hot Heating Systems, Inc. 15549 E Hwy 52 Fort Lupton, CO 80621 U.S.A.
Founded in 1984 as Vehicle Systems, Inc. Aqua-Hot Heating Systems brought real comfort to recreational vehicles owners. It introduced the first hydronic heating system — engineered for RVs — that supplied interior heat and on-demand hot water in more volume than for a cup of hot tea.
Hap Enander was an RV enthusiast looking for a better way of heating his coach, before he founded the company. He wanted quiet, evenly distributed heat and unlimited hot water when he had a continuous supply of water available. Because he was not able to find what he wanted, he designed and created his own. His first unit was called Aqua-Hot. A few years later, it was followed by a smaller unit called Hydro-Hot.
Along with product development, Hap Enander created a company. Today Aqua-Hot continues to lead the RV industry in the innovation of hydronic heating systems.
After Hap passed away in 2010, Paul A. Harter became the president of Aqua-Hot. Joining Aqua-Hot in the summer of 2006, Harter helped reorganize the company, improve quality control and facilitate diversification into other RV-based products and into other industries.
Now Aqua-Hot has hydronic heating is available for over-the-road truckers, off-road enthusiasts and many other off-highway vehicle operators, including boaters. They'll enjoy the same quiet, comfortable heat that owners of high-end motorhomes have enjoyed for decades.
